These sweet potato dog treats are meticulously crafted using just four simple ingredients. Ingredients list
2½ dl cooked sweet potato
(We use freshly pressed apple juice from our own garden.)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
Peel the sweet potato and boil it until it is soft enough to mash with a fork.
Blend oats into a flour-like consistency.
Mash the cooked sweet potato with a fork and mix in the eggs, apple juice, and oat flour. Stir well.
Put the dough in a piping bag and pipe it onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper in the desired size.
Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes, depending on the thickness.
Tips & Variations
Note: You can optionally add an extra ½ dl of apple juice to get a softer dough consistency, allowing you to put the dough in molds to make smaller treats.
Remember to grease the baking mold with oil, such as coconut oil.
That way, they come out easily after baking.
